Join CBNO for the second installment in our Building Our Future - Citywide Conversations series. This time we’re hosting an info session and conversation focused on rebuilding our transportation network in New Orleans so it’s resilient to climate change impacts and preparing for future evacuation events. 

Our conversation will focus primarily on specific opportunities provided via the PROTECT program within the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (aka IIJA or the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law). This program provides the City, the State, and regional partners with funds to rethink and remake New Orleans streets and how we use them moving forward. 

We’ll be joined by featured guest presenters - 

  • Harry Vorhoff - Deputy Director, Governor’s Office for Coastal Activities

  • Tom Haysley - Principal Planner, Regional Planning Commission

  • Aron Chang - Principal, Water Leaders Institute, Civic Studio
